SYNOPSIS:

This script dramatizes the amazing story of Cassie Chadwick, one of the most colorful, yet obscure characters in U.S. history.  Born on a farm in Canada in the mid 19th Century, Cassie rose to become not only one of the most prominent ladies in American high society, but also one of our nation's most notorious female con-artists.  She set up ingenious financial schemes in major banks across North America, making her one of the wealthiest women in the country.

The script was a finalist in the writer's guild grant awards and praised by drama critics.  We hope that Cassie's story will someday be given the recognition it deserves in our history.
